Captain Zero
An interactive play
This full day’s residency combines key areas from the Numeracy Strategy, culminating in the performance of an interactive show which is educational, lively and lots of fun. Mathematical concepts are explored, as the school assists Captain Zero to re-load his computer with the necessary knowledge and information to transport him back home.
The company will work with a class and their teacher in the morning and then present the show to the remainder of the school in the afternoon. Utilising drama techniques, they will consolidate their knowledge of the concepts of numbers, calculations, tessellation, time, shape and space.
This structure can be adapted to meet your school’s individual requirements and a range of fun mathematical workshops have been devised, which allow for even more interaction with the young people.
