The Elf Friend
The Elf Friend is a story that was created after a puppetry workshop with young people in care.
The workshop was aimed at offering the young people a forum where they could communicate their views and feelings about being in care, and the young people were given the chance to work with puppets to tell their stories.
As a result of the thoughts and ideas raised, a booklet was written and produced by the Complete Works to be circulated to other young people as a means for helping them feel understood about their fears and concerns when leaving home to go into care.
