Citizenship.......but not as we know it, is an interactive drama & film-based workshop for Key Stage 2 school children which brings the subjects of Citizenship to life.

Voiced by award-winning actor Andy Serkis (voice of Gollum in The Lord Of The Rings Trilogy) and Nicole Worrica, the half-day production, created in consultation with teachers, is based around a ten minute animated story about two aliens, Bilko and Roseville, who escape their dictator-ruled planet in search of a better form of government.

The project covers many of the National Curriculum’s Programmes of Study for Citizenship, and fully differentiated preparation and follow-up lesson plans are provided.

The production is suitable for Key Stage 2 and runs for up to 30 children at a time.

Citizenship.......but not as we know it, has been created in partnership with several companies:

Moonoo Productions Ltd is an independent animation studio who specialise in 2D Traditional, Flash and CGI Animation for Broadcast and the web. They have produced all of the artwork for the project.

The Academy of Contemporary Music in Guildford is Europe’s leading school for Rock and Pop musicians; and their excellent Music Production course has produced Lizzie Hayes and Simon Bowers who recorded all the voices used in the project.
