Free Space 2007
A packed weekend of free art, music and dance for young people. Try out your talents, watch performances, join in jamming sessions and improve your skills with help from some of the best UK and international musicians, including urban jazz group Tomorrow’s Warriors, featuring New Orleans trumpeter Abram Wilson, and Kinetica Bloco Band the UK’s largest youth bateria. Bring your own instrument so that you can join in with the musicians. There’s also hip-hop and break dancing with London’s finest b-girls Flowzaic, and a massive graffiti wall.
All events and activities are FREE, no need to book. Just turn up and stay as long as you like.
freespace activities take place in the King’s College London quad, entry via Somerset House, Strand, London WC2.
