TCW are on the look out again for talented, passionate and dedicated new tutors. We pride ourselves on hiring only the best tutors to work with our young people; many of whom have Special Educational Needs, Emotional and Behavioural Difficulties, mental/physical health problems or disabilities. Tutoring is a tough job and can be very demanding, but equally as rewarding if you are willing to commit to the cause. If you are energetic, creative and organised, and serious about making a difference to the education of vulnerable young people, this could be the job for you.

-Good knowledge of the National Curriculum and National Curriculum level descriptors
-Able to work on own initiative
-Able to think of creative ways to engage young people
-Able to represent the Company effectively
-A genuine interest in education and the arts
-Excellent communication skills
-Able to write reports to a high standard
-A flexible approach to work
-Reliable and organised
-Ability to teach GCSE level Maths/Science
-Experience of working with children with SEN
-Academic tutoring experience
The starting wage is £18 per hour for experienced Tutors, or £12ph for Tutors in Training. Both part-time and full-time hours are available – our Education Co-ordinators will work with you to design a timetable that suits you, however we do prefer to take on tutors who are available full-time (school hours).
